You haven't been very specific about the information your require, ie is it to do with health, growing, climate etc.

In the UK a Geranium plant is hardy and is a perennial.


Pelargonium also referred to as Geranium because it has almost identical leaf to the Geranium is of the same family but is in fact tender and will not survive frost.

Reply:all i know is theyre kinda shaped like a star with very rounded corners and theyre fragrant when crushed. Oh, and the oil extracted from them can be used in aromatherapy to help relaxation.

introduced into Europe in the early 1600s.


They have glands in the leaves in which essential oils are stored.


These essential oils are used in Aromatherapy.


The leaves are compound and can show divergent palmately retuculate venation(arrangement of viens on the leaf in the form of palm, reticulate because network like arrangement of veins and veinlets)


The leaf form is highly variable and the leaf texture can be smooth, velvety or even sticky. It is the back of the leaf that releases the scent for which each geranium is known and named.
