red leaves are caused by the temperature going colder than the geranium likes... it will signal a slowdown in energy... the plant will not produce blooms for a while... it will , in effect, pout........
yellow leaves are too much water.....
What is the reason my geranium leaves are going red (and some yellow)?
over watering / not enough sun
its not a problem, they are very tollerant of different conditions.... just take off the red / yellow leaves, or even cut off the whole section if its bad....
just make sure some green is left on it.... get it outside in the sun, and let it dry out a little... :-)
i'd appriciate you answering my question too :-)
Reply:geraniums don't like to be watered all the time. let them dry out in between, them give them a good dose of water, so it runs out the bottom. They might also need a slow release fertilizer.
Reply:Fluctuations in temperature, plus too much water. If they are in pots reduce water (Geraniums require very little water) and move them to a warmer/sheltered place.
